Arturo José Rodríguez Rivas

Arturo Rodríguez Rivas is a Guanacaste native, founder and owner of Montecosta Real Estate, and a bilingual professional in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica.

From a young age he has been passionate about sports, especially soccer and basketball. During his school years he actively played both sports, eventually becoming captain of the basketball team. He also had the opportunity to study at Academia Teocali, one of the most recognized bilingual schools in Guanacaste, an experience that strengthened his international outlook and his English skills from an early age.

His love for nature and the environment has always been an essential part of his life. Growing up surrounded by the beaches and landscapes of Guanacaste sparked a strong connection with the ocean, which led him to take up surfing more than 15 years ago. More than a sport, surfing became a passion and a way of life that has taught him discipline, patience, balance, and respect for nature. He also enjoys playing guitar, an activity that represents an important part of his creative and personal side.

In 2018 he lived and worked in Colorado, United States, within the hospitality industry, an experience that broadened his professional and cultural perspective, allowing him to further develop his customer service, adaptability, and cross-cultural teamwork skills.

Throughout his career he has accumulated more than nine years of experience in the real estate, administrative, financial, hospitality, accounting, and agribusiness sectors. He has developed expertise in strategic planning, business advisory, administrative management, and customer service, strengthening skills in negotiation, business analysis, and relationship management with clients, investors, and business partners.

He founded Montecosta Real Estate with the mission of becoming a trusted partner for people and families seeking their ideal property in the unique landscapes of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. His approach is to offer transparent, personalized real estate solutions, guided by integrity, local knowledge, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
